Port Townsend is many things, including an artists colony. Your hosts are artists raised by artists who believe in art - you'll find original, local art featured throughout the suites, in both public and private areas.

Our standard minimum night stay is 2 nights, requiring booking of 2 consecutive nights in the same room (for example, Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday). Some holidays and special events may subject to longer minimums.

You are encouraged to submit a booking inquiry via Airbnb if you only need a single night and the booking engine requires a longer stay.

The Washington is strictly a nonsmoking facility. Smoking is not allowed in the building, in guest rooms, or within 25 feet of any commercial entrance. Evidence of smoking including the smell of smoke in the room or in the public and private outdoor areas will result in a minimum $250 charge plus the cost of any damaged property. (Yes, friends, we mean any kind of smoke!) No burning of any sort of object including candles or incense is allowed, and no other strongly-scented items are allowed in rooms. All of the above are subject to cleaning and damage fees.

We love animals, we really do! That said, we do not allow pets. We totally get it, and we hope there are no hard feelings!

Please contact us if traveling with your furry friend is a non-negotiable and you'd like a recommendation for either a pet-friendly accommodation or for local pet-sitters.

Street parking is free and plentiful! We will provide a pass for overnight lot parking upon check-in - we ask that you please respect the specified hours to help us maintain this crucial guest benefit.
