Situated in a second-story walk-up above two charming retail spaces, The Washington Private Suites are synonymous with elevated comfort and sophisticated design.

A curated selection of original, local artwork, glasswork, and select high-quality prints are featured throughout. We have a selection of board, card, and puzzle games to amuse, and an assortment of local history resources available to delight.

With a 98% "walkability" rating from TripAdvisor, The Washington could not be more centrally located. Less than half a block away from The Rose Theatre, Haller Fountain, and steps to historic Uptown, and just off the main Water Street...you are in the heart of it all!

Guaranteed overnight parking is provided in the Antique Mall parking lot just across the street; a parking pass will be waiting in your room.

Our 50 inch Roku 4K Smart TVs are not equipped with cable, but all streaming services are ready for you to log in!

Our suites are located on the second story of a mid-century building. There are 16 stairs from the main entrance to the second-floor landing.

Hand sanitizer, Lysol, and additional individually wrapped disposable masks are provided at the top of the stairs when you enter the space. Please help yourself!

Suite 1: Luxe Downtown Art Suite

A suite complete with living, dining, and distinct sleeping area, Suite 1 overlooks charming Washington Street. The gorgeous living room is just waiting for you to spread out and get comfortable! Our brand new memory foam mattress will transform the way you think about rest! Come live like a local, complete with an ecclectic collection of original art, in downtown Port Townsend!

Suite 2: Spacious Double Art Suite

Suite 2 offers stunning original artwork, a view of serene Washington Street, a distinct workspace, and a dining table that seats up to four. Offering two side-by-side queen beds, Suite 2 has the best flexibility for a family traveling together. The dining area is complete with mini-fridge (including a separate freezer compartment) and rolling bar cart for your comfort and enjoyment.

Suite 3: Romantic Downtown Nest

Sweet Suite 3 is based in the back of our building, overlooking the historic Buehler Garage, now home to Bergstrom's Antique & Classic Autos. This location is perfect for the traveler who likes a quiet sleeping environment - or crack a window and wake up with the gulls! Includes mini-fridge/freezer and dining area.
